Though I love the idea behind having these established personality types that feel a bit Myers-Briggs-eque, in execution this leaves you with 18 personality types that are fully established and leave no room for varying temperaments. Whereas picking from a pool of individual traits makes for a nearly infinite number of personality types, this method means every single Zoi you bump into has a 1-in-18 chance of being exactly like another Zoi. Similarly, your Zois’ ambitions feel quite fixed, with each personality having two goals they are best suited for but able to select whichever of the dozen or so life paths they want.

You’ll likely get into all sorts of trouble, too, like flying into an asteroid field that tears holes in your sails and sends you careening out of control. The fact is, while many have tried, you cannot objectively measure how good or fun a game or movie or TV show or comic book is in the same way you can quantify things like temperature or mass or speed.
The improvised weapon system, meanwhile, doesn’t add much mechanically, but it’s an undeniable joy to see everything you can whack Nazis with, as well as their varied takedown animations. The Great Circle has simple, line-of-sight stealth, without much in the way of sound propagation, visibility control (camouflage or light/shadow), silent ranged takedowns, or tools for keeping track of enemies (a tagging system or radar). None of that stuff is particularly Indiana Jones, but only one of The Great Circle’s stealth levels feels tailor-made to these limitations.

It’s hard to adapt to the reasoning of these sliding puzzles because sometimes moving Jemma away from an entrance eventually leads the way there. There is consternation, the pain of failure and then the confidence gained from a correct deduction.

Regardless, right now much of InZoi’s furniture consists of basic, easy-to-coordinate items that you can spruce up thanks to uploading images, altering textures, and adjusting colors.
